Shipping policy

Orders
Orders may be placed online at the Site at any time. An order confirmation e-mail will be sent within 24 hours. As our products are handmade to order, estimated delivery times for all items are between 1-3 weeks, unless specified differently. If the item is ready before the allotted window, the item will be shipped as soon as it is completed. You will be notified via email when your order has been shipped.

Orders placed during holiday seasons or when there is a high volume of orders can take longer that the allotted time window. A sales representative will notify you if the production time is longer than usual.

Shipping
We ship our products worldwide. Free international shipping for all products above 800$; For all products under 800$ we will charge shipping rates.

Once an item was delivered to the relevant courier, it is out of our hands and responsibility. We will bear no liability should the item be damaged or lost during shipment or delivery.

We undertake to ensure that each item is shipped within 3 weeks of payment execution (for an item created specifically) for you or 10 days (if item happens to be currently in stock). Still, as explained above, we may not have control over courier’s practice and time-table. As much as we try our best to supply you with the speediest shipping of any item, we may not succeed in such efforts. Please understand that we do our best. There might be extra payments related to shipping, courier, customs, taxes and other expenses related to the delivery of our items to you.

We will insure all deliveries, and thus may be able to supply you with some payment should something wrong happen, even when it is not our responsibility.

Please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen items once declared ‘Delivered’ by the delivery service. We will immediately supply you with courier’s company details and tracking number, as soon as we get it. Couriers will be valid and professional companies, such as EMS, FEDEX, DHL and similar couriers.  

Sales Taxes & Duties
Sales tax is applicable on all orders shipped within Israel at the current local rate.
Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local guidelines apply and your order may be subject to country taxes and local duties. 

Returns, exchanges & refunds Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Unfortunately, we are not able to take returns on any item. Items may not be returned, unless we agree specifically with you, in writing.

If the ring, necklace or bracelet you ordered does not fit, we will be happy to readjust your piece for a different size within 15-days of the order date. Please keep in mind that additional costs (i.e. shipping, sizing, etc) could appear. In such case, please contact customer service via email at contact@theprivateroom.co which will assist you with your request. Note that in this case, the shipping fee must be covered by the customer.
